WorldPay Select payment combines a number of tested methods to ensure the security and integrity of all sensitive data to protect both the retailers and consumer alike.

Security is of paramount concern for both the consumer and the retailer during an online transaction. In reality transactions conducted online are considered more secure than high street or telephone card transactions as information is encrypted using more complicated logarithm combinations to create greater security.

Data storage on WorldPay systems, and the communication between WorldPay and the worldwide banking networks, is audited by the banks themselves. All third-party code we use is regularly updated along with own proprietary code.

The cardholder is further protected:
Card issuers protect cardholders from fraud and misuse of their card in a "card not present" situation, such as over the Internet or telephone. As the shopper did not sign for the goods they have the right to demand a chargeback if the card was used fraudulently or if the goods did not arrive.
